LIVE MUSIC. LIVING FILMS.

Venice world premiere

THE LAUNCH

LIVE MUSIC. LIVING FILMS., the new project that merges music, cinema, and artificial intelligence, debuted in the stunning setting of the 17th-century Teatro Malibran in Venice, during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

From the visions of the Grammy Award winner Maxim Vengerov, the conductor Marco Seco, and the artistic director Riccardo Acciarino, OOVIE Studios created, in collaboration with MASSIVE Studios, the Interactive AI Movies on Maurice Ravel's Tzigane and L.V. Beethoven's Symphony no. 5.
‍
The movies are called “Interactive”, as they listen to and interact with live music, changing their plot depending on how the music is played.

"I was immediately intrigued and fascinated by the proposal that places OOVIE Studios and LaFil at the heart of an innovative project that unites cinema and music in not only unprecedented ways but also with great interest and immense potential. I'm truly curious to attend the international premiere of this concert, which fittingly takes place in Venice during the Venice Film Festival."

After the Venice premiere, OOVIE Studios presented its Interactive AI Movie set to Ravel’s Tzigane at the Trieste Festival. To demonstrate the flexibility of our technology, we shifted from an orchestral program to marvellous duet featuring Maxim Vengerov and Polina Osetinskaya.
