OOVIE Studios is looking for a VJ Consultant to help us develop and implement our visual identity at the highest level.

This is a part-time, consulting-based engagement, not a full-time staff position.

Role

We're looking for a VJ with real experience creating visuals for DJs at major festivals, who also understands how visuals are actually run and integrated on the technical side of a live show.

On the technical side, you'll help us understand how visuals are currently integrated into clubs and festivals: which software and systems are typically used, and what festivals and clubs actually need. This is central to us: we want to understand what the real needs of a festival or club are, and the best way to integrate OOVIE into their existing workflow.

On the creative side, you'll help us understand what DJs want and what audiences respond to: what works and what doesn't across different venues, and how specific visual styles pair with specific types of music.

Responsibilities

Explain how visuals are currently integrated into clubs and festivals today, including the software and systems typically used.
Help us understand what festivals and clubs actually need, and advise on the best way to integrate OOVIE's tool into their existing workflow.
Help us understand what DJs and audiences want: what works and what doesn't, in which venues, and how visuals should pair with different types of music.
Bring hands-on experience creating visuals for DJs at major festivals and large-scale live events.

Ideal Profile

Proven experience as a VJ at major festivals or large-scale live music events.
Direct knowledge of how clubs and festivals currently run and integrate visuals: the software, the systems, and the workflow.
A strong creative eye, paired with genuine technical fluency, not one or the other.
Comfortable working as a consultant, part-time, alongside the OOVIE team.
Interest in music, cinema, entertainment, events.
