2026At the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, OOVIE Studios opened the World AI Film Festival with a gala built around live music, cinema, and real-time image generation. For a festival dedicated to the future of moving images, the evening offered a clear statement: AI can expand a live performance without taking the human presence out of it.

The world premiere centered on a new OOVIE film inspired by Il Postino and the emotional landscape of Luis Bacalov's music. Performed live by Seocho Philharmonia & ARKO Ensemble under conductor Marco Seco, the score became the pulse of the film as the images unfolded with the orchestra on stage.
The point was not to use AI as a shortcut, or to make the musicians serve the technology. It was the opposite. The system gave the live performance another form: music became image, and the film changed with the interpretation. In a festival focused on artificial intelligence, OOVIE showed a version of AI that stays close to the artist, amplifying what happens on stage instead of replacing it.
